In July 2024, the Kia Yusuf Foundation supported access to essential healthcare services for children and their families through its health-focused programs. The support was provided in coordination with local medical facilities and healthcare professionals to reduce barriers to timely care.
Through this work, children in need of surgical intervention were able to receive appropriate treatment and follow-up care in a clinical setting. The Foundation’s involvement helped ensure continuity of care without delays related to financial or logistical constraints.
Support during this period extended beyond the medical procedure itself. Families were able to remain present throughout treatment and recovery, contributing to stability and reassurance during a critical time.

Mother–Baby Program

Supported maternal and infant health through hospital-based services, ensuring comprehensive care for mothers and newborns during critical early stages.
All assistance was provided in collaboration with licensed healthcare providers and aligned with established medical practices and community needs.

Clinical Coordination

Healthcare services were delivered through partnerships with local hospitals and medical staff in Abidjan. The Foundation worked directly with facility administrators and physicians to identify cases where timely intervention was required but where families faced barriers to access.
This coordination model allowed medical teams to proceed with necessary procedures while the Foundation addressed non-clinical obstacles that might otherwise have delayed or prevented care. Families remained integrated in the care process, with transparency regarding medical decisions and treatment plans.
