On August 25, 2025, the Kia Yusuf Foundation delivered hospital-based health and essential support to patients receiving care at CHR Félix Houphouët-Boigny, a major public hospital serving the Abobo district of Abidjan.
CHR Félix Houphouët-Boigny functions as a central referral hospital for maternal health, neonatal care, pediatric services, and emergency treatment. The facility serves patients from Abobo and surrounding communities who rely on public healthcare for routine and emergency care.

Support was provided inside hospital wards to patients already admitted and under medical supervision. Distribution took place across maternity units, neonatal services, and general inpatient departments in coordination with hospital nursing teams, pediatric staff, and social services.

Women received support, including mothers in postpartum recovery, pregnant women under medical observation, women hospitalized for medical or surgical conditions, and newborns receiving in-hospital care.

All items were distributed for immediate use during hospitalization, supporting patient comfort and basic daily needs while under care.
Distribution was coordinated directly with hospital leadership and ward staff. Hospital teams identified patients requiring support and facilitated access within clinical units throughout the day.
I had been here for several days and had nothing for my baby. When I received this kit, I could focus on my recovery instead of worrying.
