Angoula Christ Loïc is a 12-year-old child whose health condition required timely surgical care. For his family, access to treatment was limited, and delays posed increasing risk to his well-being.
During this period, the Kia Yusuf Foundation supported arrangements that allowed Angoula to receive appropriate medical care within a hospital setting. Coordination took place with medical professionals to ensure the procedure could move forward under proper supervision and standards of care.
The surgery was completed successfully, and Angoula remained under medical observation during his recovery. Support was structured to allow care to continue without interruption, enabling his family to remain focused on his healing during a critical time.
Throughout Angoula’s hospital stay, short-term assistance was also made available to support the presence of his mother during recovery. This ensured continuity of care and allowed Angoula to remain accompanied by a family member throughout the process.
Angoula has since returned home and continues his recovery. His experience reflects the type of individual medical support carried out by the Foundation during this period, centered on facilitating access to care and maintaining dignity for children and families facing urgent health needs.
